Wrestling Autism is here to make a difference!  1 in 150 are diagnosed with some form of Autism.  Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder that manifests in delays of "social interaction, language as used in social communication, or symbolic or imaginative play," with "onset prior to age 3 years," according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.  Founded in Feb. 2007, Wrestling Autism quickly aligned themselves with the National Autism Association to help them get the national message of autism awareness out there along with a specific charity that will recieve all of Wrestling Autism's proceeds.  This relationship has helped raised over $6,000 in the first year and hopes to double that number in 2008.  This charity was created by 4 people that wanted to make a difference and have done so.  We would like to thank Niko, Yeti, Jp, and Big Joe for there continous efforts in making Wrestling Autism what it is today.

Alex Moshenko
Alex is no stranger to raising awareness for autism as he has been a voice for others with autism since he was six years old. Why? Because he was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and got the services and support he needed in school and at home. He wants the same for all kids with autism.

Alex has been telling parents, teachers and kids to look for their gifts and talents and to help! Alex has been on TV, radio and interviewed several times, sharing the positives that kids with Autism have to embrace but not to overlook the challenges too.

Now Big Al is involved in another mission to raise awareness for autism called Wrestling Autism.  Alex started hosting his own radio show online about wrestling in 2006. Since that time his audience has grown and especially recently because Alex has been selected to be the spokesperson of Wrestling Autism – to raise awareness for autism.  Big Al is thrilled to be selected to be the voice for Wrestling Autism and hopes to inspire other kids and adults to get involved. Each Saturday Alex prepares for an hour long talk show where he reviews past PRO wrestling events and shows such as WWE’s Raw, SmackDown, ECW and TNA.  Alex has steadily increased his fan base, which is mostly kids but adults too are listening. More information can be found online at www.alswrestlingtalk.com and www.wrestlingautism.org

Help Big Al get the word about "Wrestling Autism" campaign to raise awareness and funds for research for the thousands of children with autism in our country today - over 1.5 million. Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, is Alex’s favorite pro-wrestling star.
